ISSUE : "Manage Extensions" does not appear as an option in ACP
In System, Administration Control Panel, I do see "Extension management" and "Extensions" both listed. Both are Enabled.
If I edit Extension management, it shows
Module language name: ACP_EXTENSION_MANAGEMENT
Module type: category
Parent: No Parent
Enabled: Yes
If I try to change the Parent to something different such as System, I receive a red 'confirmation' window with no text in it, and nothing changes. Parent remains No Parent.
I have read these two posts which appear to address similar issues.

I have checked the permissions for the db table PHPBB_ACL_OPTIONS and a_extensions is listed, with a value of 1 for is_global.
So it appears the module is there, I just cannot do anything with it and it is not presenting itself as an option in the ACP.
Any additional insight & suggestions would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you!
